Privacy Policy

coucou is a form-building service that lets you create, publish, and collect responses to online forms. This policy applies to our website, dashboard, builder, and public form pages.

Account information. When you sign up, we store details such as your name, email address, and profile image (if you sign in with Google). We use this to authenticate you and operate your account.

Form content. Forms you create — including titles, block settings, styling, and publish settings — are stored so you can edit and share them.

Form responses. When someone submits a published form, we store the answers you configured (for example text fields, selections, and timestamps).

Usage data. We may collect basic technical information such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited to keep the service secure and reliable.

We use collected information to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve coucou
• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Store and display your forms and responses
• Send service-related communications when necessary
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment and billing information (such as your email, billing country, and transaction history) is processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. We receive subscription status and plan information from Lemon Squeezy so we can enable paid features on your account. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Integrations are coming soon. When Google Sheets launches, connecting it will let coucou access your Google account only as needed to append form responses to a spreadsheet you choose. This section will be updated before any integration goes live.

coucou uses Google OAuth in two separate ways. We access Google user data only for the purposes described below. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Sign in with Google (account login). If you choose Google to sign in, we receive basic profile information from Google such as your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this only to create and manage your coucou account, keep you signed in, and display your identity in the app (for example in settings and the dashboard).

Google Sheets integration (coming soon). Google Sheets is not yet live. When it ships, connecting it will authorize coucou to access your Google account with permissions needed to list your spreadsheets, read sheet tab names, and append form response rows to a spreadsheet you select. We would use that access solely to provide the Sheets sync feature you enable per form, storing OAuth tokens and your connected Google account email so the integration can keep working until you disconnect it.

What we do not do with Google user data. We do not use Google user data to serve ads, build unrelated user profiles, or transfer it to third parties except as needed to operate the service (for example secure hosting) or when required by law.

Revoking access. Once Google Sheets is live, you can disconnect it in Settings → Integrations. You can remove coucou's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Sign-in access can also be revoked there; you may need email and password sign-in to continue using your account afterward.

coucou's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers that help us run coucou (such as hosting and database providers) under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

Live forms are accessible to anyone with the link. Only share form URLs with people you intend to collect responses from.

We keep your account data and form content while your account is active. You may delete forms and individual responses from your dashboard. If you delete your account, we will remove associated data within a reasonable period, subject to legal or backup retention requirements.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can update profile information in settings, disconnect integrations, delete forms and responses, and sign out at any time. For privacy requests, contact us through Contact support.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of coucou after changes means you accept the updated policy.
